When is the Optimal Time for a Maternity Photoshoot?

The perfect timeframe for capturing graceful pregnancy photos is between 30-36 weeks. During this period, your belly will showcase a beautiful roundness, ideal for highlighting those maternity curves, while still allowing you to feel comfortably mobile for various poses.

How is Maternity Photography Conducted?

Your maternity photoshoot can occur outdoors or in my studio located in Porto. We'll capture individual shots of you, as well as with your partner and the entire family—so feel free to include any other children you have!

If you're feeling a tad camera-shy, don't worry. I'll provide guidance on posing, utilize flattering lighting and angles, and even play some lively music to help you relax and enjoy the experience. You'll have access to an array of stunning dresses and outfits, all provided at no extra cost. Get ready to feel like a goddess—I guarantee you'll look and feel fantastic!

Are Maternity Gowns Provided?

Yes, our studio offers a selection of high-quality gowns and pregnancy outfits for your convenience. You can explore our maternity gown collection here.

When Should I Schedule my Maternity Photoshoot?

It's advisable to schedule your session in advance—preferably a couple of weeks before your desired date. Consider reaching out around your 28th week of pregnancy. This will allow us to discuss your preferences for the photoshoot and ensure you're fully prepared for the big day. Booking early increases the chances of securing your preferred date.

How Long Does it Take to Receive the Final Photographs?

After the photoshoot, I'll perform basic retouching on the images. Within two weeks, the photos will be uploaded to an online gallery with a watermark. You'll have a two-week window to review and select your favorites from the comfort of your home. If you exceed the included number of photos in your package, additional images can be purchased or you can upgrade your package. Once you've made your selections and completed payment, a comprehensive retouching process will commence. After two weeks, you'll be able to download your high-resolution photos from another online gallery. Printed copies will be dispatched three weeks after receiving the digital photographs.

Can We Obtain Unedited Photographs?

I don't offer the sale or distribution of unedited photographs or RAW files. Due to limited data storage space, any unpurchased photographs will be deleted.

When is the optimal time for the newborn photo shoot?

Your precious newborn is so tiny and delicate, and it may seem too small for any adventure. However, the second week of a baby's life is the perfect time for a newborn photo shoot. During this period, your baby is typically very sleepy and will likely not notice much of what's happening around them, making it an ideal time for capturing those serene moments. Don’t worry about newborn acne or peeling skin; these are normal at this age, and I will handle any retouching during post-processing.

What happens during the newborn photo shoot?

We give your little plenty of time to eat and settle, keep him or her warm, and they fall into a blissful sleep. I then gently position your baby in natural poses that resemble their position in the womb, ensuring they are comfortable and peaceful at all times.

We usually start with baby portraits, then move on to include parents, the whole family, and siblings with their new baby brother or baby sister.

When to book a newborn photo shoot for my baby?

We have limited availability for newborn photo shoots, so it's essential to contact me before your baby is born. If you'd like to book a session, please provide your expected due date, and I'll reserve a spot on my calendar. After your baby is born, preferably within a few days, please reach out to finalize the exact date of the session. If your baby is already here, don’t hesitate to contact me; we’ll do our best to fit your family in.

How long does it take until we receive our photos?

The images will be retouched within two weeks and uploaded to an online gallery, watermarked for viewing. This gallery is accessible for 14 days, during which time you will be able to select your photos from the comfort of your home. If you wish to choose more photos than your package includes, you can purchase additional images or upgrade your package. Once your selections and payment are completed, a final touch-up will be done, and your high-resolution photos will be available for download in another online gallery within two weeks. Prints will be sent to you two weeks after you receive the digital photographies.

Can we purchase unedited photos?

I don't offer unedited photos or RAW files for sale or distribution. Due to limited storage space, any unpurchased photos will be deleted.

When should I book a family photo shoot?

While the chance to capture your family's moments is ever-present, please keep in mind that available photo shoot slots are limited. To secure your preferred date, I suggest booking early, ideally a few weeks in advance. Rest assured, I'm dedicated to finding a suitable time for your session. Your family photo shoot will be held either in my photo studio or at a location of your choice. Your family photo shoot will take place either in my photo studio in London or outdoors in the London area.
